In a few days, ABL will present its new charging station generation at the world's leading trade fair Light + Building in Frankfurt am Main. This will also be the first major joint appearance of the new management team in the Sales division.
Ferdinand Schlutius takes over the function of Chief Sales Officer. Since 2018, he has been responsible for area sales to electrical wholesalers as head of the Commerce department. Since January 2022, he has been part of the ABL management as Managing Partner. As CSO, he is now responsible for the ABL markets at home and abroad, as well as the area and direct sales.
In August 2022, ABL welcomed Henrik Langwald as the new Head of Electrical Wholesale Germany. He previously held various senior sales positions, including KOSTAL Kontakt Systeme GmbH and Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery GmbH. "ABL offers a first-class product range in the areas of eMobility and Connectivity. I am very much looking forward to continuing to be successful as a reliable and innovative partner with our customers and to inspiring new customers for ABL's products and solutions," Henrik Langwald comments on his entry.
Ralf Hassel has been strengthening the Sales division as Head of Marketing & Communications since 01.09.2022. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing and communications strategy. Ralf Hassel looks back on 15 years of marketing experience in industry and agencies. The marketing of complex technological products runs like a red thread through his CV. "I am very much looking forward to further expanding the ABL brand with my team and paying tribute to ABL's ambitious growth targets with a target group-oriented marketing mix," he says, describing his plans.
In order to meet the increasingly complex demands on processes and systems in sales, ABL already created the new Sales Operations staff position in March this year. As Team Lead Sales Operations, Gero Vogt coordinates the go-to-market processes, the implementation and further development of the sales IT systems as well as the internal and external eMobility trainings. Gero Vogt had been responsible for the Southeast Germany sales territory as Sales Manager since 2018. Since September, this area has now been the responsibility of Jan Huschmann, previously Sales Manager Southwest Germany, now Sales Manager South Germany.
"Our sales team is very well positioned and we have a strong team. We want to use this to further develop and advance ABL, for example by focusing more on internationalisation," Ferdinand Schlutius summarises the reorganisation of ABL Sales.
