ABL – Pioneer of eMobility

ABL is one of the pioneers in electric mobility. The independent family business based in Bavaria produces wallboxes and charging poles for private, semi-public, and public usage. With their smart charging solutions ABL is developing into a key player in Germany's energy turnaround policy.

In Norway – currently the country with the highest density of electric vehicles in the world – ABL is already market leader for wallboxes. ABL's eMobility product range ties back to the company's technological heritage. In 1925, the company's founder Albert Büttner developed the so called SCHUKO-plug, a shock proof plug which today is the most prevalent standard worldwide for connector services. In these times of electric mobility this success story is carried forward with innovative eMobility products. Thus ABL is setting standards in the development of user-friendly charging infrastructure.
